Project Statement

In this project I tell the story of a girl lost in her own mind. Processing her feelings and thoughts feels like jumping from one world to another, trying to find what feels like home. I wanted to highlight my love of music and the beauty of the world around us but what it ended up becoming was an unintentional look into my world. How my mind finds the music in images and helps me to explain how I'm feeling. A major influence on the creation and passion for art comes from events in my life where I felt trapped and needed an escape. I encourage the observer to adopt a fresh perspective on mental health, music, and the world through these images. To see and recognize the ethereal space that I know the world to be.
